A NOTE TO OUR FAMILIES
An important program update
Our after-school programming is paused for the remainder of 2026 while we restructure and strengthen our organization. Our commitment to young people and families continues.

Dear Camp Fire North Texas Friends and Families,
We wanted to share an important update. After careful consideration, we’ve decided to pause our after-school programming for the remainder of 2026 as we undergo restructuring.
This isn’t a decision we’ve made lightly. Camp Fire North Texas has a long history of showing up for young people in our community, and that commitment hasn’t changed. In fact, that is exactly why we’re taking this step.
We want to make sure that when we return to serving you, we do so in a way that’s sustainable, well-resourced, and that best meets the needs of our amazing community.
During this pause, our team will focus on strengthening our organization so we can come back better positioned to serve the young people and families who count on us.
We know this news may raise questions, and we understand if it brings some disappointment. We’re committed to keeping you informed as we move through this process, and we welcome you to reach out with any questions.
Thank you for your support, patience, and belief in our mission! We look forward to what’s ahead.
Warmly,
Stacy Gellner
President of the Board of Directors

Every child deserves a place where they can learn new things, build friendships, discover their strengths, and feel like they belong.
That's what we want Camp Fire North Texas to be for our kids. And it's why we're continuing to work toward bringing our programming back.
Behind every activity is an opportunity to grow. Behind every friendship is a chance to feel connected. And behind every child is a future full of possibilities.
We're working to make those opportunities possible again, but we can't do it alone. If you believe in giving kids a place to grow, learn, and belong, we invite you to be part of bringing Camp Fire back.
