  • Swimming at Harrell Park

    After-school program members will start swimming on Friday, May 17th. They will swim every day until Thursday, May 30th. Be sure to send their swimsuits, towels and sunscreen. They will arrive back at the school at 6:00 pm on these days. The pool will open to the public on Saturday, May 25th, for Free Splash. You and your whole family may come and swim for free, as well as have a picnic under the trees. Please come and join us for a fun filled afternoon and see our beautiful pool and park.

  • Camp Fire North Texas Day Camp

    Coming soon to Harrell Park! Day Camp starts on Monday, June 3rd. You may register at anytime between now and the first day of camp. The cost is $75.00 per week. there are some scholarships available to help pay for the cost if needed. A minimum of $25.00 is required. You must show your 2012 W-2 or your last 2 pay stubs to qualify for a scholarship. Each child receives swimming lessons everyday. At camp we teach Archery (3rd grade and up), Canoeing (4th grade and up), Arts and Crafts, Science and Nature, Sports and Games, and Camp Skills (building fires, reading a compass, knot making, ect...). There is fishing, reading, games,and splash time.

  • Teens in Action - Camp Fire Jr. High - High School Program!

    Camp Fire's new "Teens in Action" program will have their 1st official meeting on Monday, October 29th, 6:00 pm, at the Camp Fire office. The new Counselor for this program is Ms. Marcella Arredondo. She is excited to start with this program. The kids have already done 2 small service projects and are ready to go forward with more. This will be an awesome program for your transscripts for college. Colleges look for a well rounded young person who has done more than just make good grades. Giving back to your community shows that you are looking ahead to the future and planning to continue your good works after college. Please consider being a part of this great program.
